Solid drawing. Each work tells its own origins and has its own theme. Often this is provided by the client or the wish grows during the consultation between the client and me. Sometimes I am all in one: client, designer and executor - in a delicate balance. The design then comes from the need to develop a personal idea, as with 'Scent of a Garden'. I wanted to visualize a sensory experience: the fleeting sensation of smell recorded in robust metal. For that I sought flowers that are known for their seductive scent and whose shape 'fits' in steel: roses, lavender, honeysuckle and lemon balm.
